About Adam
Adam Smith is an investor, Co-Founder and Chief Community Officer of Dream, the family of companies behind HelpBnk. He leads community globally for Dream and Simon Squibb, so that no founder ever has to build their dream alone.
His career began on the traditional path: school, university and a job in the field he studied. It ended in personal bankruptcy. Adam rebuilt through entrepreneurship, founding seven companies and selling one, and is now an angel investor. Across the ecosystem, he sets out to give founders the kind of backing his father gave him.
Adam is responsible for community at every touchpoint, making sure people are safe, heard and supported, in person and online. The HelpBnk community has 500,000+ founders, with more than 300 mentorship sessions delivered in 2026 alone.
On stage he speaks on how the system failed him but entrepreneurship didn't, community as the moat, and going from zero to one. His 1 + 1 = 11 format gets the whole room helping each other. He has spoken at Ideas Fest, the Federation of Small Businesses and Google in London.
